Job Description
The Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis will lead the development and management of the company's financial systems and strategies, overseeing a multi-billion-dollar portfolio of infrastructure, manufacturing, and R&D projects to support the company's growth in fusion energy technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the financial planning and analysis functions for the company.
- Architect and oversee the finance efforts for a multi-billion-dollar portfolio of infrastructure, manufacturing, and R&D projects.
- Build and develop the company's financial systems and team to support growth.
Requirements
- Proven experience leading financial planning and analysis functions for a multi-billion-dollar portfolio of infrastructure, manufacturing, and R D projects.
- Ability to architect and lead the finance effort for a complex, first-of-a-kind infrastructure, manufacturing, and R D projects.
- Experience building and managing a finance team and systems growth in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership skills to build the financial engine of a company and oversee financial systems and processes.
- Demonstrated ability to develop financial strategies and provide insights to support executive decision-making for a high-growth, innovative company.
- Experience working with policymakers and suppliers in the energy or fusion energy industry is preferred but not explicitly required.
- Compliance with U.S. laws concerning the export of controlled or protected technologies or information, including adherence to Export Control Laws.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment driven by values of integrity, execution, impact, and self-critique.
