A hands-on technician role focused on assembling, welding, and testing high-precision electromechanical structures for fusion energy applications, involving TIG welding of large metallic components and micro welding of smaller assemblies in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform complex electromechanical assembly of high-precision components
Weld large-scale metallic structures using TIG welding techniques
Conduct micro TIG welding on smaller component assemblies
Test assembled electromechanical systems for quality and functionality
Requirements
Experience performing complex electromechanical assembly and in-house welding of metallic structures, including micro TIG welding on smaller component assemblies.
Proficiency as a TIG Welder and Technician with the ability to perform welding on large-scale metallic structures and small component assemblies.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment with a focus on quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
Compliance with U.S. laws concerning the export of controlled or protected technologies or information (Export Control Laws).
