Job Description
A hands-on technician role focused on assembling, welding, and testing high-precision electromechanical structures for fusion energy applications, involving TIG welding of large metallic components and micro welding of smaller assemblies in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform complex electromechanical assembly of high-precision components
- Weld large-scale metallic structures using TIG welding techniques
- Conduct micro TIG welding on smaller component assemblies
- Test assembled electromechanical systems for quality and functionality
Requirements
- Experience performing complex electromechanical assembly and in-house welding of metallic structures, including micro TIG welding on smaller component assemblies.
- Proficiency as a TIG Welder and Technician with the ability to perform welding on large-scale metallic structures and small component assemblies.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment with a focus on quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Compliance with U.S. laws concerning the export of controlled or protected technologies or information (Export Control Laws).
