Job Description

A hands-on role involving the assembly, welding, and testing of high-precision electromechanical structures, primarily using TIG welding techniques, to support the development of fusion energy technology in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform complex electromechanical assembly of high-precision components
  • Weld large-scale metallic structures using TIG welding techniques
  • Conduct micro TIG welding on smaller component assemblies
  • Test assembled electromechanical systems for quality and functionality

Requirements

  • Experience performing complex electromechanical assembly and in-house welding of large-scale metallic structures.
  • Experience performing micro TIG welding on smaller component assemblies.
  • Proficiency as a TIG Welder and Technician with the ability to perform welding tasks accurately and safely.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment with a focus on quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Compliance with U.S. laws concerning the export of controlled or protected technologies or information (Export Control Laws).
