Job Description
The Production Welder will perform manufacturing welding work for high-field superconducting magnets at Commonwealth Fusion Systems, supporting the company's mission to develop fusion energy. The role involves working on-site during weekend shifts, contributing to cutting-edge fusion technology development.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform manufacturing in-house welding work for high-field superconducting magnets
- Ensure quality and precision in welding processes
- Follow safety protocols and compliance standards during welding operations
Requirements
- Experience performing manufacturing in-house welding work for high-field superconducting magnets or similar advanced technological components.
- Ability to work the scheduled hours of 6:00 am to 6:00 pm on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday (weekend first shift).
- Willingness to work onsite at Commonwealth Fusion Systems facilities.
- Compliance with U.S. laws concerning the export of controlled or protected technologies or information (Export Control Laws).
