Job Description
A hands-on role involving complex electromechanical assembly and welding of large-scale metallic structures and components to support the development of high-field superconducting magnets for fusion energy at Commonwealth Fusion Systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform complex electromechanical assembly of components
- Conduct in-house welding of large-scale metallic structures and components
- Ensure quality and safety standards are met during assembly and welding
- Contribute to continuous improvement processes in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
- Perform complex electromechanical assembly of large-scale metallic structures and components.
- Perform in-house welding of large-scale metallic structures and components.
- This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
- Focus on quality, safety, and continuous improvement in all tasks.
- Compliance with U.S. laws concerning the export of controlled or protected technologies or information (Export Control Laws) is required, and any offer of employment will be contingent on such compliance.
