Job Description

The Supply Chain Operations Supervisor oversees and optimizes supply chain activities at an offsite production facility, ensuring material readiness, efficient logistics, and seamless communication between teams to support the company's fusion energy projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and optimize supply chain operations at the offsite cable production site.
  • Ensure material readiness by developing and implementing processes for receipt, storage, and distribution of materials.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the supply chain operations team and production, engineering, and R&D teams.
  • Maintain communication with headquarters to align on production demands and business objectives.

Requirements

  • Experience in overseeing and optimizing supply chain operations at a production site, with responsibility for material readiness.
  • Ability to serve as the primary liaison between the Supply Chain Operations team and production team, engineers, and R&D team, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Experience representing planning, inventory, and logistics functions at an offsite production facility.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement processes to ensure timely and efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of materials.
  • Experience in minimizing stockouts and optimizing inventory levels.
  • Ability to maintain regular communication with headquarters to ensure alignment and coordination to meet production demands and drive business objectives.
  • Compliance with U.S. laws concerning the export of controlled or protected technologies or information (Export Control Laws).
