The Staff SCADA MES Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining the factory's SCADA, HMI, and MES systems to ensure efficient, reliable, and scalable manufacturing operations in a fusion energy environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, test, and maintain the factory's SCADA, HMI, and MES systems
Architect and ensure the reliability, efficiency, and integration of these systems
Configure and operate production equipment through the SCADA HMI system
Monitor the entire factory by consolidating data from control systems
Establish standardized frameworks and data workflows for MES to ensure scalable and resilient production lines
Requirements
Experience in the design, implementation, testing, and maintenance of SCADA, HMI, and MES systems in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Ability to serve as the architect of SCADA, HMI, and MES systems, ensuring they are user-friendly, efficient, integrated, and reliable.
Experience in establishing standardized frameworks and facilitating robust data workflows for MES systems.
Proven ability to ensure that all production lines use the same architecture to enable scalable and resilient manufacturing processes.
Strong understanding of control systems and data integration from multiple pieces of equipment within a factory setting.
Demonstrated experience in configuring and operating production equipment through SCADA and HMI systems.
Ability to monitor and bring together data from various control systems across the entire factory.
Experience working in fast-paced environments and aligning with company values of integrity, execution, impact, and self-critique.
Compliance with U.S. laws concerning the export of controlled or protected technologies or information (Export Control Laws).
