Job Description
A Senior Technical Project Manager will oversee and coordinate complex engineering projects related to the design, construction, and operation of fusion energy systems, ensuring project plans are executed effectively within a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and establish comprehensive plans for engineering, design, and construction of complex process systems.
- Drive the execution of engineering projects within the SPARC fusion machine to meet project requirements.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones and deliverables are achieved.
Requirements
- Experience in driving complex engineering projects within a program management office (PMO) environment.
- Ability to establish comprehensive plans around the engineering, design, and construction of complex highly engineered process systems.
- Proven track record of ensuring project teams execute to meet established project requirements and plans.
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on delivering outcomes in fast-paced environments.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects related to engineering, design, and construction of highly engineered process systems, preferably within the fusion energy or similar high-technology industries.
- Compliance with U.S. export control laws concerning the export of controlled or protected technologies or information, with any employment offer contingent upon such compliance.
