Job Description

The Senior Mechanical Assembly Test Engineer is responsible for developing, revising, and executing mechanical test procedures for the SPARC Assembly project, supporting the assembly and testing of fusion energy systems at Commonwealth Fusion Systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Initiate, develop, revise, and support the execution of Mechanical Test procedures for the SPARC Assembly project
  • Develop and refine mechanical testing processes and protocols
  • Support the execution of mechanical testing to ensure project requirements are met

Requirements

  • Experience in initiation, development, revision, and execution support of Mechanical Test procedures related to assembly projects, specifically associated with the SPARC Assembly project initiative.
  • Ability to develop and revise Mechanical Test procedures in support of assembly and testing processes.
  • Experience supporting the execution of Mechanical Test procedures during assembly and testing phases.
  • Proficiency in working in fast-paced environments and adhering to company values of integrity, execution, impact, and self-critique.
  • Ability to work onsite at Commonwealth Fusion Systems facilities.
