Job Description

The Senior Electrical Assembly Test Engineer is responsible for developing, managing, and supporting large electrical systems for fusion reactor assembly, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve key project milestones and support the company's mission to deliver fusion energy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, drive, and own large systems of SPARC electrical assembly activities through First Plasma.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of engineers and technicians to support critical project milestones.
  • Participate as a strategic partner in assembly team projects to align department and company goals.
  • Work with manufacturing, procurement, and other SPARC teams to achieve assembly and system integration objectives.

Requirements

  • Experience in developing, driving, and owning large systems of electrical assembly activities through First Plasma.
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of engineers and technicians in support of critical company milestones.
  • Participation as a strategic partner in assembly team projects, helping to align department goals and objectives with larger company goals.
  • Experience working collaboratively with manufacturing, procurement, assembly, and other SPARC teams to achieve project goals.
  • Compliance with U.S. laws concerning the export of controlled or protected technologies or information (Export Control Laws), with employment contingent on such compliance.
