Job Description

The R D Technician supports research and development activities by assisting with prototype production, process monitoring, troubleshooting, and equipment maintenance to aid in product development and manufacturing at a leading fusion energy company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist R&D staff with product development, commercialization, and manufacturing support
  • Conduct prototype production and process monitoring
  • Troubleshoot equipment and processes
  • Ensure functional operation and perform preventative maintenance of equipment
  • Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, and Quality departments to meet goals

Requirements

  • Experience assisting R D staff with all aspects of product development, commercialization, and ongoing manufacturing support, including prototype production, process monitoring, troubleshooting, and related activities.
  • Ability to ensure functional operation and perform preventative maintenance of equipment.
  • Experience in process monitoring and troubleshooting within a manufacturing or laboratory environment.
  • Ability to cooperate closely with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and other departments to meet goals and objectives.
  • Compliance with U.S. laws concerning the export of controlled or protected technologies or information (Export Control Laws).
