Job Description
A Production Technician responsible for performing and monitoring manufacturing processes to build and test superconducting magnets, ensuring equipment functionality and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment working primarily overnight shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and monitor manufacturing processes to build and test superconducting magnets.
- Ensure the functional operation and perform preventative maintenance of equipment.
- Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, and Quality departments to meet production goals.
Requirements
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in electro mechanical assembly.
- Ability to perform and monitor manufacturing processes required to build and test superconducting magnets.
- Experience ensuring functional operation and preventative maintenance of equipment.
- Ability to work the hours of 6:00 pm to 6:00 am, specifically on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday nights.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and collaborate closely with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and other departments to meet goals and objectives.
- Compliance with U.S. laws concerning the export of controlled or protected technologies or information (Export Control Laws) as a condition of employment.
Benefits & Perks
Compensation rate of $30 - $41 per hour with a $30 differential
Work schedule: Saturday, Sunday, Monday nights (6:00 pm - 6:00 am)
