A Production Technician responsible for assembling, testing, and maintaining superconducting magnets in a fast-paced environment, supporting the development of fusion energy technology. The role involves close collaboration with various departments to ensure manufacturing goals are met and equipment operates efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Perform and monitor manufacturing processes to build and test superconducting magnets
Ensure functional operation and perform preventative maintenance of equipment
Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and other departments to meet goals and objectives
Requirements
A minimum of 6 years of experience in electro mechanical assembly.
Ability to perform and monitor manufacturing processes required to build and test superconducting magnets.
Ensuring functional operation and preventative maintenance of equipment.
Ability to work the second shift hours from 10:00 pm to 6:30 am.
Willingness to work onsite at Commonwealth Fusion Systems facilities.
