Job Description
A Production Technician Contractor responsible for performing and monitoring manufacturing processes to build and test superconducting magnets, ensuring equipment maintenance and process improvements in a fast-paced environment focused on clean energy development.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and monitor manufacturing processes to build and test superconducting magnets
- Ensure the functional operation and perform preventative maintenance of equipment
- Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, and Quality departments to meet goals and objectives
Requirements
- The candidate must have at least 6 years of experience in electro mechanical assembly.
- The position is a contract role with a duration of 6 months.
- The candidate must be willing to work on-site (as indicated by 'LI-Onsite').
- The candidate must be able to perform and monitor manufacturing processes required to build and test superconducting magnets.
- The candidate must ensure functional operation and preventative maintenance of equipment and participate in continuous improvement activities.
- The candidate must cooperate closely with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and other departments to meet goals and objectives.
- The candidate must comply with U.S. laws concerning the export of controlled or protected technologies or information (Export Control Laws).
Benefits & Perks
Compensation rate of $30 - $41 per hour
