Job Description

A Production Technician Contractor responsible for performing and monitoring manufacturing processes to build and test superconducting magnets, ensuring equipment functionality, preventative maintenance, and continuous improvement within a fast-paced environment focused on advancing fusion energy technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform and monitor manufacturing processes to build and test superconducting magnets.
  • Ensure the functional operation and perform preventative maintenance of equipment.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, and Quality departments to meet goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in electro mechanical assembly.
  • Ability to perform and monitor manufacturing processes required to build and test superconducting magnets.
  • Ensuring functional operation and preventative maintenance of equipment.
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced, exciting atmosphere to meet project goals.
  • Willingness to cooperate closely with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and other departments to ensure goals and objectives are met.
  • Compliance with U.S. laws concerning the export of controlled or protected technologies or information (Export Control Laws).

Benefits & Perks

Compensation rate of $30 - $41 per hour
Work schedule: 6-month contract term
