A Principal Technical Project Manager will lead the development and delivery of next-generation High-Temperature Superconducting magnet systems, managing complex projects from concept to production ramp-up within the fusion energy industry.
Key Responsibilities
Drive the development and delivery of next-generation High-Temperature Superconducting (HTS) magnet systems.
Manage complex first-of-a-kind (FOAK) projects from concept through to first articles and production ramp-up.
Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones and technical objectives are met.
Requirements
Proven experience delivering first of a kind (FOAK) complex projects from concept to first articles and production ramp-up.
Experience driving next-generation High-Temperature Superconducting (HTS) magnet systems projects.
Experience as a Technical Project Manager (TPM) in a fast-paced environment, managing complex projects.
Ability to lead projects through all phases from initial concept development to first article delivery and production ramp-up.
Demonstrated ability to manage projects involving specialized and advanced technologies such as superconducting magnet systems.
Experience working in an environment that values integrity, execution, impact, and self-critique.
Willingness to work onsite at Commonwealth Fusion Systems facilities.
