A Manufacturing Engineering Intern role focused on supporting the design, development, and optimization of manufacturing processes for fusion energy technology at Commonwealth Fusion Systems, offering meaningful and challenging responsibilities in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in manufacturing process development and optimization
Support manufacturing engineering projects and initiatives
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing efficiency
Requirements
Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
Ability to work onsite at Commonwealth Fusion Systems facilities (onsite work is required).
Demonstrated interest in manufacturing processes, engineering, or related technical areas.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively within a team.
Willingness to comply with U.S. export control laws concerning the export of controlled or protected technologies or information, with employment contingent upon compliance.
