Job Description
The Equipment Specialist supports manufacturing process improvements and equipment performance tracking to enhance efficiency and quality, while providing engineering support to help accelerate the production timeline for fusion energy projects at Commonwealth Fusion Systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Support implementation of production process improvements and manufacturing efficiency initiatives
- Collaborate with manufacturing and equipment engineering teams to identify and track equipment and process performance
- Implement activities to reduce equipment downtime and enhance product quality
- Provide first-tier engineering support for production operations
Requirements
- Support implementation of production process improvements and manufacturing efficiency improvements.
- Work collaboratively with the manufacturing and equipment engineering teams to identify, implement, and track the performance of equipment and process improvement activities.
- Reduce equipment downtime and improve quality rates through equipment and process improvements.
- Provide first-tier engineering support for production.
- Possess the ability to help the production team shorten the timeline to SPARC.
- Compliance with U.S. laws concerning the export of controlled or protected technologies or information (Export Control Laws) is required, and any offer of employment will be contingent on this compliance.
