• Hire, train, support, develop and coach the members of the team
• Define, assign and monitor objectives
• Have management responsibility for meeting cost, quality and delivery objectives for SPARC DDR, FTL and other assigned projects
• In close coordination with the engineering and construction leaders, plan and assign work, manage the workload and define priorities
• Act as an escalation point to solve issues
• Own relationships at executive level with major suppliers
• Ensure process adherence and improvements for strategic sourcing, purchase orders placement/management and supplier quality
• Report on project status, risks and issues to the supply chain and project leadership teams
• Lead the execution of business transformation initiatives
• Perform activities such as typing, standing, or sitting for extended periods of time
• Willingness to travel or work required nights/weekends/on-call occasionally for travel to construction sites and supplier
• Work in a facility that contains industrial hazards including heat, cold, noise, fumes, strong magnets, lead (Pb), high voltage, high current, pressure systems, and cryogenics
