About Commonwealth Fusion Systems:
Key Responsibilities
- Supply Chain Strategy and Roadmap : Build the comprehensive plan to scale the global fusion supply chain to deliver all the components of ARC power plants
- Activate Global Supplier Relationships : Sell suppliers on CFS's vision, and on scaling their capacity towards this vision. Do this globally, built on a strong understanding of global cultural differences and norms. Identify, initiate, structure, negotiate, and close partnerships with these suppliers
- Complex Supplier Partnerships : Specialize in creative deal structures that align incentives and build robust supplier partnerships. Be a savvy win-win negotiator. Bring a full toolkit of deal structure and contract term options
- Leadership : Lead and grow our ~100 person team of exceptional supply chain experts. Hire brilliant colleagues. Maintain a strong team culture connected to our mission
- Supply Chain Systems : Continuously improve the company's supply chain systems, processes, and tools to remove waste, increase speed, and multiply the capabilities of our teams
Requirements
- Perform activities such as typing, standing, or sitting for extended periods of time
- Willingness to travel or work required nights/weekends/on-call regularly
- Work in a facility that contains industrial hazards including heat, cold, noise, fumes, strong magnets, lead (Pb), high voltage, high current, pressure systems, and cryogenics
