Job Description
The Corporate Controller will oversee the company's financial operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain internal controls, and lead accounting functions within a fast-growing, innovative fusion energy company.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the company's financial operations
- Ensure accurate financial reporting
- Design and maintain internal controls
- Lead accounting operations
- Implement and ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) regulations
- Support the company’s financial growth and development activities
- Provide financial, process control, and business insights to leadership
Requirements
- A strong accounting background including a CPA certification.
- Experience as the corporate functional leader of a dynamic, growing company.
- Experience implementing and complying with the Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Act.
- Experience with the rigid reporting requirements of an SEC-registrant.
- Ability to manage and oversee the financial operations of the company, including ensuring accurate financial reporting.
- Ability to design and maintain internal controls.
- Experience leading accounting operations.
- Experience in a fast-paced environment driven by values of integrity, execution, impact, and self-critique.
- Compliance with U.S. laws concerning the export of controlled or protected technologies or information (Export Control Laws).
