The Assembly Support Technician provides technical assistance and support in assembly operations, contributing to the development of fusion energy technology in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with assembly processes and support activities for fusion power plant components
Maintain and organize assembly tools, parts, and materials
Ensure quality and accuracy during assembly tasks
Requirements
Possess the physical ability to perform assembly support tasks in a fast-paced environment, including standing, lifting, and handling materials as required.
Have experience with assembly support or similar technical roles, demonstrating the ability to support assembly processes effectively.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent education; specific higher education or technical certifications are not explicitly required but may be preferred.
Be willing to work on-site at the designated location (LI-Onsite CFS-NE).
Comply with U.S. laws concerning the export of controlled or protected technologies or information, including adherence to Export Control Laws.
Be able to work as part of a team, demonstrating collaboration and communication skills necessary for assembly support activities.
