Job Description
A Senior Backend Engineer role focused on maintaining and improving the live Clubhouse app, working collaboratively to solve user problems, enhance app quality, and develop monetization features in a fast-paced, remote-friendly environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Solve dynamic user problems related to the Clubhouse app
- Ship new product features and updates rapidly

Requirements
- Experience as a Backend Engineer with at least early to mid-level seniority, focusing on rapid product explorations, overall quality, and usage of a live production app.
- Proven ability to ship new product launches at speed.
- Experience in improving monetization features and app quality.
- Ability to iteratively improve a legacy codebase while maintaining long-term maintainability.
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with founders, product, design, and data science teams.
- Experience solving a dynamic set of user problems in a production environment.
- Experience working in a remote-friendly environment or in-person at a headquarters location.
- Proficiency in software development with a focus on backend systems (specific technologies not specified but implied).
- Ability to work across the U.S., indicating flexibility to work remotely from any state in the U.S.
