Job Description
A Senior SAP Financial Accounting Specialist responsible for supporting and optimizing SAP S/4HANA Finance modules, including Treasury, Accounting, and related processes, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure system stability, process improvements, and end-user support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support for SAP S/4HANA Accounting, Treasury, and related modules on a daily basis
- Lead requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, and go-live for Ariba modules
- Conduct workshops with finance, treasury, and tax teams to identify process improvements
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues to minimize business disruption
- Maintain and validate master data such as Chart of Accounts, Bank Accounts, and Business Partners
- Support testing and validation for system upgrades, patches, and new functionalities
- Create user training materials and documentation for processes and best practices
- Facilitate integration error resolution and ensure data consistency across systems
- Assist with compliance and audit requirements related to finance and treasury processes
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting, or a related field.
- 8-10 years of experience in supporting SAP S 4HANA Accounting, Treasury, Fixed Asset, and related modules.
- Strong understanding of accounting processes and best practices.
- Hands-on experience in SAP S 4HANA, specifically in supporting SAP S 4HANA Accounting, Treasury, and related modules.
- Experience in supporting day-to-day SAP S 4HANA operations including Accounting, Treasury, Fixed Assets, and Tax modules.
- Experience in leading requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, and go-live for SAP modules such as Ariba.
- Ability to conduct workshops with Treasury, Accounting, Financial, and Tax teams to identify process improvements and enhancements.
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving issues related to SAP S 4HANA modules, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Exposure to Enable Payment process, Establish Closing Schedule, Close Period, Process Year-End Adjustments, Carry Balance Forward, Close Year-End, and 1099 Processing.
- Experience in maintaining and validating master data, including Chart of Accounts, Bank Accounts, and Business Partners.
- Support testing and validation for upgrades, patches, and new functionalities in SAP S 4HANA.
- Ability to create documentation for processes and best practices, and conduct user training.
- Experience facilitating integration error resolution (e.g., Banking, Vertex) and ensuring data consistency across systems.
- Assist with compliance and audit requirements related to finance, treasury, and accounting processes.

Salary range of $135,000 to $170,000 USD depending on location, skills, experience, education, and certifications
