Job Description
The Analyst, Asset Management supports the commercial and financial management of renewable energy projects, including project evaluation, performance analysis, and administrative tasks, to maximize asset value and ensure contractual compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct due diligence on new project investments and support project evaluations, contract reviews, and recommendations for acquisitions, divestitures, and investments.
- Manage financial performance by analyzing P&L, tracking budgets and forecasts, monitoring performance, and investigating deviations.
- Support commercial management activities, including ensuring compliance with project agreements and managing project documentation.
- Assist in developing and maintaining information sharing platforms, work management systems, and supporting asset management and project handover processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.
- 0-3 years of professional experience in asset management, data analytics, business administration, project management, contract administration, project finance, or other commercial roles.
- Ability to read, translate, and interpret complex agreements or regulations, with an understanding of legal terminology.
- Experience researching, analyzing, and synthesizing data and reports.
- Developed analytical, project management, and organizational skills.
- Strong business and financial savvy with an understanding of accounting, finance, and valuation concepts.
- Ability to perform at a high level in a matrixed organization, working in inter-departmental teams to achieve objectives.
- Experience in manipulating and managing large amounts of structured and unstructured data.
- Prior experience with the use of formulas in Excel (e.g., vlookup, sumproduct, sumif, index match) and creating reports from scratch.
- Ability to occasionally travel to company or project locations.
