The Senior Associate, EPC Procurement, is responsible for leading procurement and contracting processes for wind EPC projects, including bid management, vendor selection, contract negotiations, and market intelligence analysis, to support the development and construction of renewable energy projects.
Key Responsibilities
Lead competitive bid processes and develop vendor award recommendations for EPC contracts.
Conduct contract negotiations and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to advance vendor selection and contract administration.
Review and analyze EPC bids, contractor performance, and market intelligence to inform decision-making.
Manage the development of bidding strategies, qualification of bidders, and bid levelization.
Support project initiation, contract scope review, and ongoing contract management.
Build and maintain strategic relationships with EPC partners and internal teams.
Gather and analyze market intelligence on industry trends, tariffs, and policies affecting EPC projects.
Facilitate internal resolution of contractual and technical issues related to EPC agreements.
Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure specifications and standards are met for wind projects.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, procurement and supply chain, engineering, or related field
A minimum of four years experience with EPC contracting and negotiations or related experience
Experience in project management, contracting, and negotiation with large-scale wind, solar, or battery storage development projects preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong understanding of contract language and negotiation
Ability to travel up to 10%
Proficient in Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Office Suite Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote, and document control

Salary range of $112,000 to $140,000 USD depending on location and experience
