Job Description
Our mission is to return the atmosphere to 280 ppm CO₂.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the operations teams by troubleshooting and repairing industrial automation equipment
- Install, commission, decommission, calibrate and troubleshoot various sensors, motors, valves and other industrial equipment
- Build, install and wire electrical control cabinets with Engineering support
- Perform planned maintenance tasks on electrical equipment
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in an E&I, I&C, Controls technician or similar role
- A strong electrical safety mindset
- A desire to work hands on in the field
- Ability to interpret Electrical schematics
- Knowledge of common industrial wiring standards and ability to wire new equipment with little guidance
- High level electrical troubleshooting skills for control systems from 24v - 480v
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair VFDs
- Ability to read PLC programming (ladder logic, Structured text, function block)
- Skills with AutoCAD Electrical or other schematic software
- PLC and/or HMI programming experience
- Experience with Siemens TIA portal software
- Familiarity with Siemens PLC hardware
- Familiarity with Ignition or other SCADA systems
- Experience in a start-up environment
