Our mission is to return the atmosphere to 280 ppm CO₂.
Key Responsibilities
Give written and verbal feedback on the design of the equipment. Offer ways to design or fabricate something more easily based on your experience. We want someone who is excited to work alongside our design engineers to create the best possible outcomes.
Fabricate key pieces of pyrolysis equipment from a range of design details. Some of our parts have full design drawings, and some are new concepts that we’ll sketch together on a white board. We want you to be able to handle all of the above!
Use and maintain our shop tools, including being an advocate for safety and best practices for keeping them highly functioning.
Learn and navigate our CAD program (Onshape) to interface with design engineers and leverage the tool to create and document novel designs.
Collaborate with the procurement team with inventory management and sub-assembly workflows in the Fabrication shop to ensure all fabrication kits are properly located and traceable.
Participate in quality inspection and quality reviews alongside design engineers to make sure completed assemblies meet design intent
Learn and apply the various fabrication tools in our shop, CNC plasma table, plasma cutting, rotary welding table, pipe threader, 3D printer
Record your work in Confluence/JIRA/Google Product Suite, including providing documentation as needed.
