Job Description
The role involves leading and developing a team of early-career Value Engineers at Celonis, focusing on onboarding, training, and delivering value to customers through process intelligence and AI-driven solutions, while managing stakeholder relationships and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Hire, onboard, and develop early career Value Engineers through the Orbit onboarding program.
- Develop talent with technical, business, process, and sales skills relevant to value realization.
- Coach team members with hands-on engagement, feedback, and mentorship.
- Allocate resources effectively to meet sales, renewal, value, and adoption targets.
- Communicate success metrics and risks proactively within the organization.
Requirements
- Experience in recruiting, onboarding, and developing a team of early career Value Engineers, with the ability to develop talent across the Celonis value journey including technology, sales cycle, business processes, value realization, renewal process, and customer engagement best practices.
- Deep process and industry knowledge with a proven consulting skill set and strong analytical abilities.
- Proven ability to foster a positive and supportive work environment that promotes employee satisfaction and career growth.
- Experience in recruiting high-standard candidates and setting a high standard for candidate excellence.
- Ability to develop world-class talent with a balanced skill set that includes quantitative, technical, business, process, and sales acumen.
- Experience coaching individuals through hands-on engagement, continuous feedback, and active mentorship.
- Ability to effectively allocate resources to deliver on sales, renewals, value, and adoption targets.
- Experience in communicating success and risks proactively within the organization.
- Domain expertise in business areas such as Finance or Supply Chain, with experience in strategic transformation initiatives like Shared Services Transformation or System Transformation, and ability to build a compelling value roadmap for customers.
- Deep understanding of industry trends and strategic challenges faced by the C-Suite, with ability to build an integrated Celonis EMS roadmap.
- Product expertise with guiding customer IT teams throughout their Celonis journey, demonstrating hands-on ability to build dashboards, Apps, etc., and accelerate value realization.
- Experience in planning and managing project scope, expectations, and timelines, leveraging partners from the Celonis Ecosystem where possible.
- Experience in preparing and communicating results to stakeholders and management, both internally and externally.
- Experience with a value selling methodology throughout the customer journey, including discovery, qualification, proof activities, and value realization, demonstrating the potential value of Celonis.
- Proven track record of identifying and prioritizing use cases, implementing improvement measures, establishing operating models, and training users to realize value, renew, and expand subscriptions.
- Proven leadership ability to lead by example, including being hands-on with teams and serving as a role model for the organization.
