Job Description
The Integration Developer and Automation Specialist at Celonis will design, implement, and maintain software integrations using APIs, create automation scripts, and support software development practices to optimize workflows and ensure efficient data exchange across platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design workflows and pipelines for efficient data exchange across systems.
- Develop, test, and deploy solutions for data manipulation using APIs.
- Troubleshoot and debug API integration issues.
- Write and maintain automation scripts using JavaScript or Python.
- Create custom solutions to streamline processes.
- Monitor and enhance the performance of automation scripts.
- Collaborate with teams to align integrations with software architecture.
- Document processes, workflows, and technical solutions.
- Provide regular updates on project progress and address issues.
- Continuously seek opportunities for improvement in systems and processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in software development.
- Strong experience in leveraging APIs to extract and inject data.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and/or Python for scripting and automation.
- General understanding of software development practices, including version control (e.g., Git) and testing frameworks.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with SDLC tools like Salesforce, Jira, GitHub, Argo, Datadog and their API services.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proactive mindset with a focus on delivering solutions.
