Job Description
A Solution Design Specialist supporting value engineers by developing technical architectures, optimizing system integrations, and creating reusable assets to drive data-driven business transformations using the Celonis Platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with value engineers to ensure solutions align with client objectives and support the entire value journey
- Translate client business goals into technical solutions that support strategic vision
- Develop and maintain reusable technical assets, including architecture templates and integration frameworks
- Provide guidance on technical design, performance optimization, and security throughout the customer lifecycle
- Lead high-impact, mission-critical projects with innovative and collaborative approaches
Requirements
- Understanding of Value Engineering Principles, including familiarity with concepts of value analysis, cost reduction, and optimization.
- Proficiency with Make, Celonis, and Python as they are part of the solution to all the problems faced.
- Ability to work with and interpret data to make informed recommendations on improving asset, product, or process value.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis to diagnose underlying issues.
- Creative thinking skills to find new ways to reduce costs or enhance performance without compromising quality.
- Ability to clearly explain technical concepts, challenges, and solutions to engineers and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working closely with Value Engineers, Product Managers, and other stakeholders in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Customer-focused approach with the ability to understand customer needs and convey solutions that address those needs.
- Strong time management skills to complete tasks within tight deadlines and support multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively based on importance and deadlines.
- Meticulous documentation and reporting skills, including preparing project proposals and final reports.
- Active listening skills to understand and respond to stakeholder needs, concerns, or feedback.
- Troubleshooting and diagnostic skills to methodically address and resolve technical issues related to software, hardware, or processes.
- Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new tools, techniques, and industry best practices.
- Attention to detail to ensure all aspects of projects are carefully evaluated, minimizing oversights that could lead to cost or functional issues.
- A degree in Technology Management, Industrial Business Engineering, Business Informatics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a comparable degree program, unless the candidate has the relevant skills outlined above.
