Job Description
The Senior Value Engineer at Celonis is responsible for guiding customers through their value journey using the Celonis Process Intelligence Platform, helping them achieve strategic goals and realize significant value. This role involves building business cases, conducting value assessments, and collaborating with sales teams to drive data-driven business transformation across various industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate customers' strategic priorities into high-impact Celonis use cases
- Build demos and business cases leveraging industry benchmarks
- Undertake Value Assessments or Proof-of-Value Projects
- Facilitate business value workshops to identify process enhancement opportunities
- Derive improvement measures and initiate enterprise-wide change initiatives
- Present results and realized value to senior management and C-level executives
- Build a strategic expansion roadmap for customers to drive adoption and expansion
- Provide feedback to product development teams for platform enhancement
Requirements
- Several years experience in an analytical role with the objective to demonstrate or secure value through business data analysis, business process improvement, and respective software deployment, ideally in a customer-facing role in Solution Consulting, Sales Engineering, or IT Management Consulting with a software provider or a consultancy.
- Good knowledge of business software applications and experience in using and/or building dashboards, apps, and action flows.
- Experience in identifying use cases for business process improvement and deploying improvement measures, being a change agent, and training users/process owners to realize value.
- Experience in planning and managing project scopes, expectations, and timelines, managing multiple projects across aligned accounts at different parts of the value journey.
- Experience in preparing and communicating value roadmaps and results to stakeholders and management, both internally and externally.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; Swedish is a plus.
- Understanding of the Finance and/or Supply Chain domain as well as strategic transformation initiatives, e.g., Shared Services Transformation or System Transformation.
- Experience with the Manufacturing/Production industry and the ability to develop a deep understanding of industry trends and strategic opportunities.
- Degree in Technology Management, Industrial Business Engineering, Business Informatics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a comparable degree program.
