Job Description
The Senior Value Engineer at Celonis is a trusted advisor responsible for helping customers realize value from the Process Intelligence Platform through strategic assessments, process improvements, and stakeholder engagement, driving business transformation and platform adoption.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate customer objectives into value assessments and proof-of-value projects
- Build business cases and demos leveraging industry benchmarks and best practices
- Conduct value assessments and communicate strategic value to C-Level executives
- Facilitate business value workshops to identify and qualify process improvement opportunities
- Derive improvement measures and initiate enterprise-wide change initiatives
- Present results and realized value to senior management and stakeholders
- Manage the end-to-end customer value journey including landing, expanding, adoption, and renewal
- Develop strategic expansion roadmaps to embed the Celonis platform as a transformation tool
- Provide feedback to product teams to enhance platform capabilities based on customer use cases
Requirements
- Experience in an analytical role with the objective to demonstrate or secure value through business data analysis, business process improvement and or respective Software deployment, ideally in a customer-facing role with a Consultancy or Business Software SaaS Provider, or in an Inhouse role e.g. Center of Excellence for Data Mining Analytics Intelligence within an Enterprise.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience in preparing and communicating roadmaps and results to stakeholders, and sales acumen, sovereign and winning appearance.
- Good knowledge of Business Software SaaS applications such as SAP, experience with implementing AI agents like IBM Watson Orchestrate, Amazon Bedrock, Microsoft Copilot, Salesforce Agentforce, RPA or BI Tools or building Dashboards or Apps Action Flows, and knowledge of Python and or SQL.
- Experience in collaborating with IT teams.
- Experience in identifying use cases for business process improvement and deploying improvement measures, being a change agent and training users and process owners to realize value.
- Advanced industry expertise in Life Sciences, Pharma or Health Care, with a proven ability to develop a deep understanding of industry trends and strategic opportunities of the C-Suite and build an integrated Celonis Process Intelligence roadmap.
- Experience in planning and managing project scopes, expectations and timelines.
- Good understanding of the Finance and or Supply Chain function and or strategic transformation initiatives e.g. Shared Services Transformation or System Transformation.
- Degree in Industrial Business Engineering, Technology and or Management, Informatics, Mathematics or similar.
- Ability to travel mainly domestically up to 35%.
