Job Description
The Senior Value Engineer supports customer success by identifying business challenges, demonstrating the value of Celonis' process mining solutions, and driving process improvements and expansion within client organizations through technical expertise and strategic consulting.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with customers to identify core business challenges and develop solutions using Celonis technology
- Support regional teams in establishing and growing foundational accounts
- Build relationships with customers to act as a trusted advisor through technical and business expertise
- Share customer insights with internal teams to influence product development
- Create reusable collateral, best practices, and tools within the Global Value Engineering Center of Excellence
- Conduct ROI analysis and develop business cases to demonstrate the benefits of Celonis solutions
- Identify and translate customer strategic priorities into high-impact use cases
- Build demos and business cases to support customer acquisition and expansion
- Facilitate value workshops and identify opportunities for process improvement
- Present value realization results to senior management and C-level executives
- Develop strategic expansion roadmaps to embed Celonis as a core business transformation platform
Requirements
- Five (5) years of experience in an analytical role with the objective to demonstrate or secure value through business data analysis, business process improvement, and respective Software deployment, ideally in a customer-facing role in Solution Consulting, Sales Engineering, or IT Management Consulting with a Business Software SaaS Provider or a Consultancy, or in an Inhouse role such as Center of Excellence for Data Mining Analytics Intelligence within an Enterprise.
- Good knowledge of Business Software SaaS applications such as SAP, with experience in implementing Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Business Intelligence (BI) tools, and building dashboards, apps, and action flows.
- Hands-on experience with SQL, and Python is preferred.
- Experience in collaborating with IT teams.
- Experience in identifying use cases for business process improvement and deploying improvement measures, acting as a change agent, and training users and process owners to realize value.
- Experience in planning and managing project scopes, expectations, and timelines across multiple projects at different stages of the value journey, leveraging partners from the Celonis Ecosystem where possible.
- Experience in preparing and communicating value roadmaps and results to stakeholders and management, both internally and externally.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in Italian and English.
