Job Description
The Senior System Engineer at Celonis is responsible for managing and maintaining the company's global IT infrastructure, including cloud and on-premises systems, automation processes, and supporting internal IT operations to ensure smooth and secure technology services.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and administer the global IT infrastructure, including on-premises and cloud environments
- Resolve 2nd level IT support tickets raised by internal employees
- Identify and proactively create maintenance tasks for IT infrastructure
- Lead automation initiatives within Internal IT, focusing on Azure, Entra ID, and related systems
- Manage Google Workspace platform, including directory services and scripting
- Manage small IT infrastructure projects independently
- Troubleshoot and escalate infrastructure issues to vendors as needed
Requirements
- Seven (7) years of experience in administering and maintaining a SaaS, cloud, on-premises, and client environment comprising of Azure including, but not limited to, Entra ID, Identity Governance, Defender APIs, Powershell scripting, Windows 10, 11, Windows Server 2019, 2022, Linux, Mac OS, and iOS.
- Strong knowledge and experience in managing global infrastructure including on-premises and Cloud providers.
- Seven (7) years of experience in automation of processes in the areas of infrastructure management and related IT systems.
- Experience in IT project management, evaluation of new technologies, and presentation of findings to Senior Management.
- Proficiency in administration and use of GitHub repositories.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP networks including DNS, DHCP, routing, and SSL.
- Ability to troubleshoot and escalate issues to vendors in a structured manner.
- Experience resolving 2nd level IT tickets raised by internal employees and collaborating with international IT Service Desk and Infrastructure teams.
- Willingness to work in a shift-based model to ensure global coverage and timely support.
- Experience managing and scripting within Microsoft O365 including Teams, Google Workspace, and Cloud Platform.
- Experience managing and scripting within Azure and Entra ID related systems, processes, services, and access rights.
- Experience managing Google Workspace Platform including directory service management and scripting.
- Ability to work independently on small IT infrastructure related projects.
