Job Description
The Principal Value Engineer at Celonis is a strategic advisor responsible for helping customers realize business value through process intelligence, driving adoption, expansion, and renewal of the platform while translating complex data into actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate customer objectives into value assessments and proof-of-value projects
- Build business cases and demos leveraging industry benchmarks and best practices
- Conduct value assessments and communicate strategic value to C-Level executives
- Facilitate business value workshops to identify and qualify process improvement opportunities
- Derive improvement measures and initiate enterprise-wide change initiatives
- Present results and realized value to senior management and stakeholders
- Manage the end-to-end customer value journey including landing, expanding, adoption, and renewal
- Develop strategic expansion roadmaps to embed Celonis Process Intelligence in customer organizations
- Provide feedback to product development teams based on new use cases
Requirements
- 12 years experience in an analytical role with the objective to demonstrate or secure value through business data analysis, business process improvement and respective Software deployment, ideally in a customer-facing role in Solution Consulting, or IT Management Consulting with a Business Software SaaS Provider or a Consultancy, or in an Inhouse role such as Center of Excellence for Data Mining Analytics Intelligence within an Enterprise.
- Experience in identifying use cases for business process improvement and deploying improvement measures, being a change agent and training users and process owners to realize value.
- Understanding of the Finance and or Supply Chain domain as well as strategic transformation initiatives such as Shared Services Transformation or System Transformation.
- Good knowledge of Business Software SaaS applications such as SAP, with experience in implementing RPA and or BI Tools and or building Dashboards, Apps and Action Flows.
- Knowledge of Python and or SQL and importantly AI.
- Experience in collaborating with IT teams.
- Experience in planning and managing project scopes, expectations and timelines, managing multiple projects across different parts of the value journey, and leveraging partners from the Celonis Ecosystem.
- Experience in preparing and communicating value roadmaps and results to stakeholders and management, both internally and externally, with excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
- Degree in Technology Management, Industrial Business Engineering, Business Informatics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics or a comparable degree program.
