Job Description
The role involves managing and optimizing HR technology systems such as Workday and ServiceNow, translating HR needs into technical solutions, leading projects, and ensuring seamless HR service delivery through system configuration, automation, and stakeholder collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, management, and execution of projects in the People Technology roadmap
- Identify, design, and implement system optimizations, automations, and workflow efficiencies for HR processes
- Manage end-to-end lifecycle of system enhancements, including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, deployment, and change management
- Serve as a subject matter expert and project lead for Workday initiatives, troubleshooting and improving core HR functions
- Manage daily operations and optimization of ServiceNow for HR service delivery
- Act as an escalation point for complex technical system issues, performing root cause analysis and coordinating fixes
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between HR, IT, vendors, and stakeholders to meet project milestones
- Maintain expert-level knowledge of Workday and ServiceNow capabilities and configurations
Requirements
- Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience working within an HR People Operations department, providing a foundational understanding of core employee lifecycle processes such as hiring, performance, compensation, benefits, and termination.
- At least three (3) years of experience in a dedicated HR Systems Analyst, HR Technology Specialist, or similar role focused on translating business needs into technical configuration.
- Proven experience leading large, cross-functional projects, including defining scope, managing stakeholders, creating deployment plans, and leading user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Expert, hands-on experience in configuring and troubleshooting Workday HCM specifically in core areas like Business Process configuration, calculated fields, security domain setup, and report writing.
- Proven experience configuring and deploying ServiceNow HR Service Delivery (HRSD), including case management, record producers, and knowledge base management.
- Familiarity with integration concepts such as APIs and EIBs, and experience working closely with IT Integration teams (preferred).
- Strong analytical and translation skills with the ability to deconstruct complex business problems into logical, executable technical solutions.
- Demonstrated stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence, communicate, and manage expectations across diverse global teams including Finance, IT, Compliance, and HR.
