Job Description

The role involves leading a team of Value Engineers to drive end-to-end customer value journeys, helping clients realize strategic benefits from the Celonis Process Intelligence Platform through value identification, expansion, and renewal efforts, while fostering customer relationships and developing talent within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of Value Engineers to drive customer value journeys from landing to renewal and expansion.
  • Identify, frame, and deliver value to customers by translating strategic objectives into high-impact use cases.
  • Own the end-to-end customer value journey, including adoption, deployment of features, and strategic growth initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with customers, acting as an executive sponsor and trusted advisor.
  • Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and Executive Business Reviews (EBRs) to communicate value and results to senior management.
  • Recruit, develop, and mentor talent within the Value Engineering team to ensure high standards and continuous growth.
  • Coordinate resources and activities to meet sales, renewal, and customer success targets.
  • Communicate success, risks, and strategic insights proactively within the organization.

Requirements

  • Lead a team of Value Engineers and drive end-to-end customer value journeys, including responsibility for landing, expanding, adoption, and renewing accounts.
  • Translate customers' strategic objectives into high-impact Celonis use cases and evangelize Process Intelligence across prospects and customers.
  • Communicate the value opportunity and strategic roadmap to C-Level executives in partnership with sales leadership and Celonis executives.
  • Serve as an executive sponsor across the customer portfolio and solidify Celonis as a strategic business transformation platform for customers.
  • Lead customers through the Celonis Value Journey, support deployment of new features, apps, and products, and advance strategic growth programs to create value.
  • Ensure customer success by architecting improvement measures, managing change within the customer base, and pioneering new methodologies within the Celonis Value Engineering organization.
  • Direct Celonis Value Engineering, Services, and Ecosystem resources through the Celonis Customer Value Journey to create durable customer value.
  • Create and build strategic customer relationships as an executive sponsor.
  • Host Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and Executive Business Reviews (EBRs) to communicate results and realized value to senior management and C-level executives.
  • Demonstrate business domain expertise in areas such as Finance or Supply Chain, including experience in strategic transformation initiatives like Shared Services Transformation or System Transformation, and ability to build a compelling value roadmap for the customer.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of industry trends and strategic challenges faced by the C-Suite, and build an integrated Celonis Process Intelligence roadmap.
  • Guide customer IT teams throughout their Celonis Process Intelligence journey, demonstrating hands-on ability to build dashboards, Apps, and Action Flows to accelerate value realization.
  • Plan and manage project scope, expectations, and timelines, leveraging partners from the Celonis Ecosystem where possible.
  • Prepare and communicate results to stakeholders and management, both internally and externally.
  • Follow the Celonis value selling methodology throughout the customer journey, including discovery, qualification, value assessment, and Proof of Value (PoV) presentations, demonstrating the full value potential of Celonis Process Intelligence.
  • Identify and prioritize use cases, implement improvement measures, and establish operating models to enable customers to realize value, renew, and expand their subscriptions with Celonis.
  • Qualify all Value Engineering engagements, conduct discovery with customers directly, allocate resources efficiently, and champion the value selling methodology.
  • Lead by example with proven leadership skills, including being hands-on with teams and serving as a role model for the organization.
