Job Description

The Lead Value Engineer at Celonis is a trusted advisor responsible for helping customers achieve strategic goals and realize value using the Process Intelligence Platform through value assessments, workshops, and driving adoption and expansion across industries, particularly in the High Tech sector.

Key Responsibilities

Translate customer objectives into value assessments and proof-of-value projects
Build business cases and demos leveraging industry benchmarks and best practices
Conduct value assessments and facilitate workshops to identify process improvement opportunities
Present results and realized value to senior management and C-level executives
Manage the end-to-end customer value journey, including landing, expanding, adoption, and renewal
Develop strategic expansion roadmaps to embed Celonis as a core business transformation platform
Provide feedback to product teams to enhance the platform and develop new use cases

Requirements

Experience in an analytical role with the objective to demonstrate or secure value through business data analysis, business process improvement, and respective Software deployment, ideally in a customer-facing role in Solution Consulting, Sales Engineering, or IT Management Consulting with a Business Software SaaS Provider or a Consultancy, or in an Inhouse role such as within a Center of Excellence for Data Mining Analytics Intelligence within an Enterprise.
Good knowledge of Business Software SaaS applications such as SAP, with experience in implementing RPA and/or BI Tools, and/or building Dashboards, Apps, and Action Flows.
Knowledge of Python and/or SQL.
Experience in collaborating with IT teams.
Experience in identifying use cases for business process improvement and deploying improvement measures, acting as a change agent, and training users and process owners to realize value.
Experience in planning and managing project scopes, expectations, and timelines, managing multiple projects across different parts of the value journey, and leveraging partners from the Celonis Ecosystem.
Experience in preparing and communicating value roadmaps and results to stakeholders and management, both internally and externally, with excellent communication and presentation skills in English and a professional appearance.
Understanding of the High Tech domain and strategic transformation initiatives such as Shared Services Transformation or System Transformation.
Industry expertise in the High Tech industry with the ability to develop a deep understanding of industry trends and strategic opportunities.
A degree in Technology Management, Industrial Business Engineering, Business Informatics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a comparable degree program.
