Key Responsibilities
As the Director of Value Engineering (FSI) , you will lead the Financial Services practice for North America. You will serve as the strategic leader for the vertical, partnering with Sales Leadership to define the regional value agenda and orchestrating a multi-disciplinary team to drive end-to-end customer value journeys.
You will lead a diverse organization—ranging from strategic Industry Partners to technical execution teams—to translate high-level institutional goals (e.g., Capital Efficiency, Operational Resilience, Combined Ratio optimization) into realized P&L impact. You will serve as the Executive Sponsor for our most strategic accounts, ensuring Celonis is embedded as the default transformation platform across the Office of the COO, CIO, and Chief Digital Officer.
Requirements
Executive Leadership Experience: 12+ years of relevant experience, with at least 5+ years in a people-management role within Management Consulting, Value Engineering, or Financial Services Operations.
FSI Domain Fluency: Deep, granular understanding of the Financial Services value chain including:
Commercial Acumen: Demonstrated ability to qualify complex engagements and drive commercial strategy. You understand the "buying center" of a financial institution and how to navigate procurement, IT security, and business stakeholder requirements.
Technical Context: Understanding of the modern FSI technology stack and how to articulate the value of Process Intelligence within a legacy vs. modernization landscape.
Value Realization Track Record: Proven history of leading large-scale transformation programs that impacted the P&L through operational efficiency or risk mitigation.
Stakeholder Management: Extensive experience presenting to C-Level executives (COO, CIO, CDO). You can navigate complex, matrixed organizations and use data to persuade senior stakeholders

The base salary range below is for the role in the specified location, based on a Full Time Schedule. Total compensation package will include base salary + bonus/commission + equity + benefits (health, dental, life, 401k, and paid time off). Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and that the actual total compensation offer will be determined based on various factors, including, but not limited to, applicant's qualifications, skills, experiences, and location.
