Job Description
The Account Executive at Celonis is responsible for driving new business growth within the U.S. Public Sector by identifying, cultivating, and closing high-value enterprise software sales, collaborating with cross-functional teams and partners to expand market presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Discover and cultivate new business opportunities within assigned accounts in the U.S Public Sector.
- Establish and strengthen relationships with organizational decision-makers and executives.
- Understand client needs and articulate how Celonis solutions address them.
- Guide the sales process from prospecting to closing deals through structured stages.
- Conduct presentations and demonstrations to showcase the value of Celonis solutions.
- Build partnerships with consulting firms, SaaS partners, and major industry players.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business development, value engineering, partner management, and marketing.
Requirements
- 8 years of demonstrated success in Software as a Service (SaaS) sales, particularly in roles focused on both expanding existing business opportunities and cultivating new business opportunities.
- 5 years of experience selling into the federal government.
- Proven ability to navigate complex sales cycles involving multiple decision-makers.
- Track record of selling enterprise-level software applications to C-level stakeholders.
- Strong business acumen with a solid understanding of business processes and KPIs, for example in Finance or Supply Chain.
