Job Description

The Account Executive at Celonis is responsible for driving new business growth within the U.S. Public Sector by identifying, cultivating, and closing high-value enterprise software deals through strategic sales processes and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Discover and cultivate new business opportunities within assigned accounts
  • Establish and strengthen relationships with organizational decision-makers
  • Understand client needs and articulate how Celonis solutions address them
  • Guide the sales process from prospecting to closing deals
  • Conduct presentations and demonstrations to showcase product value
  • Build partnerships with consulting firms, SaaS partners, and Big4 firms
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business development, value engineering, partner managers, and marketing

Requirements

  • 8 years of demonstrated success in Software as a Service (SaaS) sales, particularly in roles focused on both expanding existing business opportunities and cultivating new business opportunities.
  • 5 years of experience selling into the federal government.
  • Proven ability to navigate complex sales cycles involving multiple decision-makers.
  • Track record of selling enterprise-level software applications to C-level stakeholders.
  • Strong business acumen with a solid understanding of business processes and KPIs, for example in Finance or Supply Chain.
