The Senior Asset Manager oversees the operational and financial performance of a solar energy portfolio, ensuring assets operate efficiently, comply with regulations, and maximize value within an IPP environment.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the commercial and operational performance of the solar portfolio
Lead performance monitoring initiatives across the fleet
Coordinate operations and maintenance activities
Manage financial invoicing and variance reporting
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Support technical and commercial asset management functions
Develop scalable systems and automation for portfolio growth
Optimize processes to improve operational efficiency and reporting accuracy
Requirements
Experience in overseeing the commercial and operational performance of a distributed generation DG solar portfolio.
High-level monitoring and Operations & Maintenance (O M) coordination skills.
Ability to serve as a strategic partner in maximizing asset value, financial budgeting, and long-term portfolio performance.
Experience supporting technical and commercial asset management functions within an Independent Power Producer (IPP) environment.
Ensuring assets operate in alignment with financial models, lender expectations, Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) requirements, and investor return thresholds.
Leading performance monitoring initiatives across the solar asset fleet.
Developing scalable systems and automation to support portfolio growth.
Overseeing commercial compliance and budget processes.
Supporting continuous process optimization to enhance operational efficiency and reporting accuracy.
Experience in portfolio monitoring, technical performance oversight, commercial asset management, and O M coordination.
Experience in financial invoicing oversight, variance reporting, and executive reporting.
Knowledge of regulatory compliance and regulatory management related to solar assets.
