This role involves leading complex healthcare projects as a subject matter expert, managing project teams, developing innovative design solutions, and collaborating with clients and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery and sustainable design integration.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and serve as a subject matter expert on large, complex healthcare projects
Engage with team members, disciplines, and clients to advance project quality
Develop innovative solutions and responses to evolving research needs
Lead internal Subject Matter Expert Teams and participate in marketing pursuits
Collaborate with project teams to provide technical expertise in programming and planning
Lead user group meetings to gather and refine program needs and assess space utilization
Communicate planning concepts to clients, designers, and project teams through reports and presentations
Translate planning concepts into architectural drawings, specifications, and project documentation
Develop project scope, plans, and services during contract negotiations
Incorporate sustainable design solutions into projects
Build and maintain relationships with clients and provide guidance to team members
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering or a related degree
Minimum of 12 years of related experience performing as a subject matter expert on projects
Previous experience on projects ranging from large, complex, or multiple projects for the healthcare market
Knowledge of building codes and requirements
Must have advanced knowledge in the discipline
Must possess strong business acumen
Ability to be client facing with strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to lead less experienced team members
Familiarity with Revit, Microsoft Office, and Bluebeam software
