This role involves working under a Licensed Architect to develop technical aspects of architectural projects, including design, coordination, detailing, site visits, and ensuring quality standards, primarily within Science and Technology sectors, while leading and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
Contribute to design, production, coordination, and detailing of architectural projects
Prepare design sketches and site plans
Coordinate engineering systems with consultants and team members
Communicate project status, design intent, and updates to stakeholders
Perform field site observations and visits
Integrate performance-based and sustainable design strategies
Apply quality assurance and quality control standards to ensure technical quality
Supervise, mentor, and lead work of interns and less experienced staff
Participate in team meetings and project leadership activities
Requirements
Bachelor or Master’s degree in Architecture required.
Minimum 8 years of related professional experience required.
Experience working on Science and Technology projects required.
Knowledge of building codes and requirements.
Must be a critical thinker.
Must be highly analytical.
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
Must be a fully qualified professional able to perform work with a high degree of latitude, with some ambiguity in work.
Proficiency with Revit, Enscape, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite required.
