Job Description

This leadership role involves overseeing the growth and strategic development of the East Region's health market for CannonDesign, including client engagement, team building, market positioning, and business development to achieve regional and firm-wide goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership for the East Region, focusing on the growth of the health market.
  • Develop and lead high-performance, diverse teams aligned with regional strategies.
  • Contribute to firm success through strategy development, market intelligence, and business development.
  • Build regional and office business plans in collaboration with leadership to drive market growth.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with target clients to achieve revenue growth.
  • Lead high-level client engagement and project delivery to foster long-term relationships.
  • Enhance regional brand visibility through speaking engagements, writing, and external activities.
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to advance client engagement, market differentiation, and team building.
  • Manage the regional top line revenue, aiming for a minimum of $5 million annually.
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop talent to build a high-performing, inclusive team.
  • Develop market intelligence to identify future trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with internal leaders to ensure successful implementation of business and profitability goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
  • Current Registration Licensure in Architecture, Interior Design, or Engineering is preferred.
  • Minimum of 18 years of experience with a proven track record of strategic growth, market and team leadership, and business development success in the Health Market.
  • Strong presentation skills are essential.
  • Exceptional client and people leadership skills are required.
  • Strong business acumen and proven ability to create and execute strategy is needed.
  • Professional acumen and maturity demonstrated by the ability to communicate authentically and respectfully is essential.
  • Ability to inspire, motivate, and develop high-performing, accountable teams.
  • Must be able to demonstrate sound judgment and a sound approach regarding risk management and mitigation.
  • Some travel is required.
