Job Description
The Project Architect will lead the development and coordination of architectural projects, overseeing design, technical quality, team management, client relations, and sustainable strategies to deliver integrated and high-quality architectural solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead design, production, coordination, and detailing of architectural projects.
- Coordinate engineering systems with consultants and team members.
- Prepare design sketches for site plans.
- Communicate project status, design intent, and updates to stakeholders.
- Participate in business development and client relations.
- Perform field site observations and visits.
- Integrate sustainable and performance-based design strategies.
- Implement project delivery processes and best practices to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Supervise and mentor junior team members and interns.
- Ensure technical quality and compliance through QA/QC standards.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor degree in a relevant field required.
- Minimum 8 years of related professional experience required.
- Current Architectural Registration in the United States required.
- Knowledge of building codes and requirements.
- Must possess business acumen.
- Must be a critical thinker.
- Must be highly analytical.
- Must be a fully qualified professional able to perform work with a high degree of latitude, with some ambiguity in work.
- Must have the ability to be client facing with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Revit, Enscape, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite required.
