Job Description
A Marketing Specialist at CannonDesign supports proposal development, brand marketing activities, and market research to enhance the firm's visibility and win pursuits, working collaboratively with various teams in a remote, regional capacity across the West United States.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the development of proposal materials and coordinate production across all stages of pursuits.
- Collaborate with teams to develop pursuit strategies and create marketing collateral such as resumes, presentations, and portfolio pages.
- Support local marketing activities including sponsorships, awards, events, and photography to enhance brand visibility.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of the firm's portfolio, personnel, and offerings, and build subject matter expertise to add value to marketing initiatives.
- Review and ensure accuracy and quality of marketing content, maintain client and pursuit data in Salesforce, and organize proposal files.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with pursuit leaders and participate in external marketing activities as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications or a related field is required.
- A minimum of 3 years of related work experience working in a marketing or communications role for a professional services firm is required.
- Proficiency with InDesign, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Must be proactive, self-driven, organized, detail-oriented and have an enthusiasm for innovation.
- Strong time and project management skills are essential, along with the ability to work in a deadline-driven environment.
- Fundamental abilities in strategy, design, and writing, with demonstrated capacity for advancement in at least one of these areas.
