A Marketing Specialist at CannonDesign supports proposal development, brand marketing activities, and market research to enhance the firm's visibility and win pursuits, working collaboratively with various teams in a remote, regional capacity across the West United States.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support the development of proposal materials and coordinate production across all stages of pursuits.
Collaborate with teams to develop pursuit strategies and create marketing collateral such as resumes, presentations, and portfolio pages.
Support local marketing activities including sponsorships, awards, events, and photography to enhance brand visibility.
Develop in-depth knowledge of the firm's portfolio, personnel, and offerings, and build subject matter expertise to add value to marketing initiatives.
Review and ensure accuracy and quality of marketing content, maintain client and pursuit data in Salesforce, and organize proposal files.
Build and maintain trusted relationships with pursuit leaders and participate in external marketing activities as needed.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications or a related field is required.
A minimum of 3 years of related work experience working in a marketing or communications role for a professional services firm is required.
Proficiency with InDesign, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Must be proactive, self-driven, organized, detail-oriented and have an enthusiasm for innovation.
Strong time and project management skills are essential, along with the ability to work in a deadline-driven environment.
Fundamental abilities in strategy, design, and writing, with demonstrated capacity for advancement in at least one of these areas.
