Job Description
The Marketing Specialist at CannonDesign supports proposal development, brand marketing activities, and market research to enhance the firm's visibility and win pursuits, working collaboratively with various teams in a remote, regional capacity.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the development of proposal materials and coordinate production across all stages of pursuits.
- Collaborate with marketing and pursuit teams to develop strategies from client engagement to securing wins.
- Create and update marketing materials such as resumes, portfolios, presentations, and collateral using brand standards.
- Support regional marketing activities including sponsorships, awards, events, and photography to enhance brand visibility.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of the firm's portfolio, personnel, and offerings, and build subject matter expertise.
- Review and ensure the accuracy and quality of marketing content and maintain relevant systems like Salesforce and proposal files.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications or a related field required.
- A minimum of 3 years of related work experience working in a marketing or communications role for a professional services firm required.
- Proficiency with InDesign, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Must be proactive, self-driven, organized, detail-oriented and have an enthusiasm for innovation.
- Strong time and project management skills are essential, along with the ability to work in a deadline-driven environment.
- Fundamental abilities in strategy, design, and writing, with demonstrated capacity for advancement in at least one of these areas.
