Job Description
This role involves leading and developing the Health market within CannonDesign's Toronto office, focusing on business growth, client engagement, team leadership, and advancing innovative design solutions aligned with the firm's Living-Centered Design philosophy.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop high-performance teams focused on the Health market.
- Develop and execute the Market Business Plan to drive market growth and differentiation.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to achieve top-line revenue targets.
- Engage with clients at high levels to lead project work and foster long-term relationships.
- Promote the firm's brand externally and internally through speaking engagements, writing, and other activities.
- Advance strategic initiatives, market differentiation, and client pursuit strategies.
- Manage the overall financial performance and profitability of the market.
- Assess, mentor, and recruit staff to build a diverse, inclusive, and high-performing team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required.
- Current Registration Licensure in Architecture, Interior Design or Engineering preferred.
- Must have 12 years minimum experience with a proven track record of strategic growth, market and team leadership, and business development success in the Health Market.
- Strong presentations skills are essential.
- Exceptional client and people leadership skills required.
- Professional acumen and maturity demonstrated by the ability to communicate authentically and respectfully is essential.
- Strong business acumen and proven ability to create and execute strategy is needed.
- Ability to inspire, motivate and develop high-performing, accountable teams.
- Must be able to demonstrate sound judgement and a sound approach regarding risk management and mitigation.
- Some travel required.
